Short version: FreeForTruckers has no accounts, sells no data, and keeps your saved routes and favorites on your own device.

What we collect

• No accounts, no sign-up. We don't ask for your name, email or phone to use the site.
• Your location — only if you tap "Use my location." Your browser asks your permission first. The location fills in your starting point and is used to plan the route; we don't store it.
• Server logs. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to run and protect the site.

What stays on your device

Saved routes, favorite stops, your filter choices and truck details are stored in your browser's local storage. They never reach our servers. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Outside services that help run the site

To show maps and plan routes, your browser or our server sends some information to these services. Each has its own privacy policy.

• Route planning: your route points and truck details go through our server to OpenRouteService (HeiGIT) for truck routing. If that's unavailable, route points go to the public OSRM server for car routing.
• Address search: what you type in Start, Stops and Destination goes to Photon (komoot) to find matching places.
• Map images: OpenFreeMap supplies the map tiles.
• Code and fonts: the map library loads from unpkg, and fonts load from Google Fonts.
• Navigation buttons: tapping Google Maps, Apple Maps or Waze opens that app or site with the stop's location.

Driver reports

The "Add / fix a listing" form opens your own email app with the report filled in. We receive only what you choose to send, and use it to check and correct listings. We don't add you to any mailing list.

Cookies and advertising

The site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies today. If we add ads or analytics in the future, we'll update this page first and describe what they collect.

Children

The site is meant for professional drivers and isn't directed at children under 13.
